We just got the word that our accommodations have finally been arranged. We will be staying at a Microtel by Wyndham in Santa Rosa. Not too shabby!
It looks like a very clean and comfortable place close to everything; I think everyone's happy!
The hotel just opened in February so everything is very new. The hotel can help arrange for you to play golf at the driving range and golf course next door. There is also a health and sports club a few meters away where the hotel has an arrangement with where you can swim, work-out play tennis or basketball. The area is situated in a nice hilly area with good walk paths, so jogging and walking are great exercise options. Nuvali also has excellent biking trails and you can rent bicycles for only PhP60 an hour. ($2.50 CDN).
I don't expect to have much time for golf... but it will be nice to get out for a walk or a workout and apparently there are lots of restaurants and shopping close by.
Looks like a great place to spend 4 weeks! Now all we need to find out is what we will be doing and who our clients will be. Should be any any day now!
